Our Guest Garden is the Georgeson Botanical Gardens in Fairbanks Alaska. During our recent two month trip to Alaska we visited numerous gardens and vegetable-producing farms and were fascinated by the types and size of vegetables that can be grown in Alaska! It seems that the secret are the very long 22 hours of sunlite that the plants receive, so they can grow to an enormous size. Take a look at the cabbages in the photos and you'll see what we mean!
