The current featured garden is The Gardens of Palmer, a fine vegetable garden located in Palmer, Alaska. The garden at the Palmer visitors center offers several varieties of vegetables and numerous native spieces of plants. Local area farmers, such as a U-Pick farm, offer the locals and visitors alike a chance to pick your own Alaskan veggies. They grow big and fast in Alaska and the growing season is short.
