Sweet & Sour Meatballs

1 lb. lean ground beef
1 c. dried breadcrumbs
Egg substitute equal to 1 egg
2 tbsp. onion, minced
2 tbsp. milk
1 clove garlic, minced
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1 tbsp. oil
2/3 c. chili sauce
2/3c. apple jelly

In a large bowl combine beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, milk garlic, salt and pepper; form into 40 meatballs. In a large skillet brown the meatballs in oil. Cover and simmer for10 minutes. Drain excess fat and blot any excess grease off the meatballs with paper toweling. Combine chili sauce and jelly; pour over meatballs. Serve sweet and sour meatballs in fondue pot heated at low setting. Makes 40 meatballs. |
