Beefy Brown Rice Soup
 |
1 lb. lean beef stew meat, cut into 1/2 pieces
2 tsp. dried Italian seasonings
1 c. chopped onions
2 carrots, chopped into 1/2 cubes
1 c. frozen or fresh green beans
2 tsp. minced garlic
2 cans (14 oz.) fat-free beef broth
4 c. water
1 can (14.5 oz.) diced tomatoes
1/4 tsp. black pepper
1 c. brown rice

In a 4 qt. slow cooker add each ingredient in order as listed above except for rice, do not stir. Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours. For the last hour stir in brown rice. Makes about 10 servings. |
