The fence is used to keep animals, especially rabbits, out of the garden, and the traps are used to trap the rabbits so they can be relocated another section of the city. Since we don't have trouble with larger animals, like raccoons or deer, we only need a small fence. And when the marigolds are in full bloom, you can hardly see the front fence at all.
