Fertilizer Or Garden Dust Shaker

Don’t throw those grated Parmesan cheese shaker containers away. Reuse these containers for holding fertilizers or garden dust.

If you buy vegetable fertilizers and garden dusts by the bag, fill these shakers up instead of hauling around the large bag. The shaker top is great for sprinkling fertilizer around plants or sprinkling garden dusts onto individual plants.

Materials Needed: Emptied and cleaned Kraft Parmesan cheese container, 8 oz. or 24 oz. Masking tape Marker

Instructions:

1) Remove label from container.

2) Re-label the container: With the permanent marker, write the name of the garden product onto a piece of masking tape and stick onto the container or write the name directly onto the plastic container. Unscrew top and fill.

Note: Make sure that you re-label these containers so you don’t use it on food!
