Instructions:
1) Print out template to printer.
2) Cut 4 pieces of light and 3 pieces darker fabric into 1 1/2 inch strips about 7 or 8 inches long.
3) Arrange strips on table, alternating every other strip light and than dark as shown in illustration A. With right sides facing, sew each strip together with a 1/4-inch seam on sewing machine. Press seams toward dark fabric.
4) Fold fabric diagonally. Place candy cane template onto the fold of the fabric as shown on illustration B. Pin and cut out candy cane from fabric.
5) Fold fabric candy cane right sides together. With a sewing machine, sew a 1/8-inch from the edge of candy cane. Leave an opening for stuffing as shown in illustration C.
6) Trim corners of candy cane. Turn inside out and stuff with fiberfill through opening. Sew opening close with needle and thread.
