The Annual Plan (planning the summers garden) begins in the cold month of January. You must decide what varieties (kinds of vegetables) to grow, where to place and when to plant them, row and crop spacing, companion and succession planting and more. In the Annual Plan you plan the garden during the winter months of January and February, order your seeds, sketch the garden layout and develop your overall strategy. The Annual Plan is called Annual because it must be done every year, as you should not plant the same variety in the same location (a horticultural no-no). This is a great section, so come on in and help us plan for this summers harvest!
